Refresher driving lessons are the perfect way for you to practice skills that you may not have used for a long period of time or to just brush up on your general driving technique. When people buy a new car that is very different to a previous one in terms of size or gearbox type they sometimes want a few lessons just to get used to the new vehicle.

Refresher driving lesson prices start from £29 per hour* in a manual car. They are also available in automatic.
Refresher lessons are not a formal course of driving lessons as such. Rather they are a short (usually around 5 hours) burst of lessons designed to give you back your confidence whilst having a fully qualified driving instructor providing you with the saftey and experience as you drive. There may be specific skills that you are looking to practice such as motorway driving, town driving (particularly in London) or manoeuvers such as reversing and parking.
Please remember that you must have a full valid driving licence for the car you are using (manual or automatic) in order to take refresher lessons. Refresher driving lessons are not available for provisional driving licence holders.
You may be able to use your own car for your refresher driving lessons. This is something that can be discussed with the driving instructor when you first talk to them. Please note that if you are using your own car that the driving instructors insurance will not cover you.
